ABE ADVOCACY TRAINING FOR PRACTITIONERS AND STUDENTS

MCAE offers on-site and regional advocacy training for adult basic education programs to help them develop and implement effective advocacy strategies. The next round of regional advocacy workshops will be held in the fall 2009.

In collaboration with the Massachusetts Alliance for Adult Literacy (MassAAL), MCAE also conducts advocacy and leadership trainings for adult basic education students. These include a visit to legislative offices at the State House. The trainings are usually held in January and February prior to Adult Literacy Awareness Day.

For more information on the training schedule or to arrange an on-site advocacy training for your group, please contact Public Policy Field Organizer Jennifer McAllister at jmcallister@mcae.net or 617-482-MCAE.
