Massachusetts celebrated National Adult Education and Family Literacy Week September 20-26, joining adult education programs and champions around the country in lifting up the great work of ABE programs and the successes of our students. We are especially grateful to Governor Charlie Baker for acknowledging that a successful adult education system is essential to a flourishing, innovative, and more equitable economy, improved health outcomes, lower incarceration rates, improvedK-12 outcomes, and deeper civic engagement.
